The Ministry of Finance has begun activities towards the preparation of the 2020-2023 Budget Statement and Economic Policy to be presented to Parliament by 15th November 2019. The Ministry in this regard, requests inputs and written memoranda from the general public for consideration into the National Budget.
The call for inputs is part of Government’s commitment to deepen citizens’ participation and engagement in the budget process, and to ensure that policies implemented by Government are inclusive and responsive to the needs of the Ghanaian populace.
To this end, Business Associations, Recognized Professional Bodies, Financial Institutions, Civil Society Organizations, Private Sector Operatives and the general public are requested to submit inputs to achieve this objective.
