Programme Based Budgeting

The Programme Based Budgeting agenda is in two folds.  First, the Budget seeks to create a strong link between resource allocation and the National Plan to ensure that government priority agenda is carried out.  Secondly, PBB seeks to include performance information as part of the Budget to measure the delivery of services by MDAs.

The two major measures in the Budget for Ghana are the Outcomes measuring at the MDA level and the Outputs that measure at the programme level.
