42ND ANNUAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK AND 33RD ANNUAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT FUND, MAY 10 – 23, 2007 SHANGAI, CHINA

The Minister for Finance and Economic Planning, Hon. Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu and an eight member – delegation left Accra on Friday 11th May, 2007 to attend the 2007 Annual Meeting of the African Development Bank.

The 42nd Annual Meeting of the AfDB is being held at the Shanghai International Convention Center of the Oriental Riverside Hotel in Shanghai, China. The theme for the meetings is “Africa and Asia: Partners in Development”.

Other members of the delegation include Hon. Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei (MP), Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning and Dr. P. Acquah, Governor of Bank of Ghana.
