The Government of Japan announced on 5 February, 2010 that His Imperial Highness, the Crown Prince of Japan will pay an official visit to the Republic of Ghana from 7 March to 10 March as his first call on a Sub-Sahara African Country.
The visit was materialised in view of the friendly bilateral relationship after Crown Prince Naruhito had received an official invitation from His Excellency Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, the President of the Republic of Ghana.
Ghana was chosen as the very first Country in sub-Sahara Africa for Crown Prince Naruhito to make a visit.
The Crown Prince is scheduled to arrive at Accra from London on 7th March 2010 and to depart on 10 March 2010 for Nairobi, where he will commence his visit to the Republic of Kenya.
