REVISED COCOA PRODUCER PRICE FOR 2007/08 MAIN CROP SEASON

It is hereby notified for general information that the producer price of cocoa for the 2007/08 main crop season has been revised upwards with effect from 22nd February, 2008.

The new producer price to be paid at all buying centres is thirty six Ghana cedis (Gh¢36.00) per load of 30 kilograms for grade I and II cocoa beans naked ex-scale or seventy five Ghana cedis (Gh¢75.00) per bag of 64 kilograms gross.

A tonne of 16 bags is one thousand two hundred Ghana cedis (Gh¢1,200.00).
