SIMEON P. KYEI APPOINTED NEW DIRECTOR OF BUDGET FOR MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND ECONOMIC PLANNING

Mr. Simeon Patrick Kyei, Chief Manager, Research Department of the Bank of Ghana has been appointed as the new Director of Budget for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. His appointment takes effect from today July 15, 2009.

Mr. Kyei who holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School, attended Boa Amponsem Secondary School and the Swedru Secondary School for his ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level Certificates.

He obtained his first degree in Economics with Sociology from the University of Ghana (1981) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Financing from the Bradford University in the United Kingdom in 1997.

He is married with three children.
