2007 WORLD BANK/IMF SPRING MEETINGS

The Minister for Finance and Economic Planning, Hon Kwadwo Baah Wiredu and a 13 member-delegation left Accra yesterday April 9, 2007 to attend the 2007 World Bank and International Monetary Fund Spring Meetings in Washington D.C., U.S.A from April 14 – 16, 2007.

The delegation would also attend the Commonwealth Finance Ministers’ Meeting, scheduled to take place on the 12th of April, 2007 and the G8 Summit Preparatory Meetings, on April 13, 2007, all in Washington DC.

Other members of the delegation include Hon. Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, Deputy Minister of Finance Economic Planning, Hon. Nii Daku Adu-Mante, Chairman of Finance Committee of Parliament, Mrs. Regina Adutwum, Director – General of the National Development Planning Commission and Mrs. Molly Brown – Ankrah Senior State Attorney.
