Bilateral Cooperation to reflect Ghana Beyond Aid Vision
Tokyo, April 11, 2018 – Ghana and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
have agreed to review bilateral cooperation in various sectors to support
the attainment of the Ghana Beyond Aid Vision.
Ghana and Japan Strengthen Economic & Development Partnerships
Ghana and Japan have agreed to work towards strengthening economic
and social partnerships between the two countries. The commitment was
mutually expressed by Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta of Ghana and
Deputy Prime Minister, Taro Aso of Japan in Tokyo on Tuesday.

STC Presents US$1m to Government
The Intercity State Transport Company (STC) has
presented an amount of US$1 million to Government.
The amount is the second installment for the payment
of a loan from the Government of Ghana. In October 2016,
Government bought 50 buses for STC at a cost of US$13 million,
to aid in their operations.

framework to generate a pipeline of bankable public private partnership projects.
